Junior Programs
Membership at Rock Hill offers your child tremendous opportunity!
Beginners: RHCC cultivates junior golf with group and individual instruction. We make certain to emphasize FUN, and the culture at RHCC is extremely “kid friendly”. We teach and then encourage the proper use of the golf course and practice facilities which offer the developing golfer everything needed to build a game.
Intermediate: RHCC has an extraordinary junior program each summer. We offer group instruction and weekly competition on the course. Parental involvement is encouraged, and the competition is fun spirited. Children see their name and scores posted just like the big leagues.
Developing: For those children who enjoy working on their game, and who excel at the weekly competitions, RHCC offers a junior interclub team. Juniors qualify to compete in the weekly game at the club. RHCC has won it’s division of Junior Interclub 7 years running, competing with area clubs.
The Junior Interclub team is a great opportunity to form relationships with other children. The team travels to matches, and lifelong friendships are made. The team atmosphere keeps the competition fun, and gives juniors a chance to see how they like the feeling of posting a score.
The end of each summer is marked with the Junior Jeter, which is our Club’s junior championship. Juniors have opportunity to compete against their friends for the honor of Junior Club Champion.
Elite: RHCC has the experience and expertise for those juniors who want to see how far they can take their games. Having been through the process many times, our staff can help families choose which events in which to compete, and how to pursue colleges when the time comes.
RHCC has produced many, many, collegiate level golfers who have gone on to accomplish great feats, all while enjoying the wonderful game of golf. RHCC is unparalleled in it’s ability to afford your child the opportunity to learn and appreciate golf, and all it can do for them.
